I have been “fortunate” enough to have to visit my local ER twice in the last 3 months. The first visit was 24 hours long and yesterday was 13 hours. I also teach in the college system, so I am seeing the effects of the cuts to both systems that Doug Ford is exacerbating. Time to take the decisions for funding for both sectors away from the lunatic In charge in Ontario.

I was reading all the new posts at the Clubhouse this morning and it struck me again - this is the first time in my history that I remember, that Canadian citizens ourselves had such a collective voice. I walked in to Walmart today, but exited within 30 minutes.

I noticed that they no longer identify country of origin especially on produce, fruit and pantry items. I came especially for celery and lettuce, and NO indication where they were from.

No longer a place for me to shop.

Instead I walked to my Co-Op near by.
