Just heard Anne Lagacé Dowson interviewed by Charlie Angus. Could you tell me more about her work to save the Canadian Medical System??? I couldn’t find any reference to her present activities. Where might I find her advice on what ordinary Canadians should be doing to wake up the present Liberal government to their other responsibilities to the Canadian people besides looking after business.

My sister and I are both retired widows. I have cancer and last year I moved in with her. In prep for my move, she renovated the downstairs as I'll likely end up in a wheelchair. I told her a absolutely didn't want an seated chair tub. But, her contractor and a fast talking salesperson talked her into the exact tub that I knew would not work for me. I tried, four times, but it just doesn't work because of the cancer involvement in my spine.
We have tried to sell or donate the tub for over a year. I thought a cancer lodge or nursing home or Habitat for Humanity would jump at it. Nope. No nibbles on Marketplace.
Somehow I need to connect with someone who wants a very high-end tub for their own renovation. Asking the cost of professional removal and replacement will be just a fraction of the value of the tub.
Please share this with anyone you know who might be able to put this skookum tub to good use. Located in Victoria, BC.

TL;DR: $18,000 SafeStep tub, used four times. No charge for the tub; recipient covers professional removal, alcove repairs and standard replacement-tub installation.
Jets, heated seat, Bluetooth… this tub has everything except a compatible owner. My sister bought it to help me, but my damaged spine objects to sitting upright.
We’ve approached nursing homes and Habitat for Humanity, no interest. Could a client renovating a bathroom use it? Please share!
